I am thinking of moving there from Southern California. I like the cooler climate (Not Vegas) , less traffic, greener landscape and better hunting grounds. I am considering NV,OR, Utah and Idaho. I know that NV has tax advantages. But dont know what they are.

No state tax. But I would recommend you move to Idaho! Way greener, cooler, and better hunting and fishing!

Nevada has no income tax because the state generates more than enough revenue from the casinos. I heard that property taxes are favorable too. I think the sales tax is relatively high at 7.5%. It is `definitely cheaper to live in NV than CA!

I live in nevada aka Las Vegas.....we do not have any state tax, plus no tax on food, and can eat cheap, shopping is cheap---any other questions just email me with ur questions.
