YES! I got lots of wonderful gifts for Christmas.,, they made me happy...
My mom got engaged on Christmas (a childhood dream of mine was for my mom to get married) and I shed tears of joy for the first time in years.
People make people happy, not things.

Hello:

I agree that anything in life that is really worth having cannot be purchased by money alone, however on the same hand this is not to say that getting these things or keeping these things would not be a lot of work, its just that you cannot buy love, children, trust and so on...

I hope this helps.

No. Some things you need cost money, food, shelter, health care, transportation.
Emotional needs don't cost money but they do cost time and effort. Except for the love that comes from your parent's. You're not supposed to be charged for this but some parents do(not in the form of money but in the form of obligation), which is the source of much pain in this world.

The best things in life are free, but you have to open your eyes to see them, and reach out with an open hand to receive them. And cherish them once you have them.

Everything has a price. To wit: staring at a sunset too many times will cause you to go blind, which will require surgery to repair....which costs money.
