Im due on January 4th and the baby is already over 8 pounds and 10 ounces from the ultrasound I had last week. I currently don't feel much of anything . I have grown used to being pregnant and the babies nursery and everything has been ready for quite some time now.

A month ago I was much more "oh the baby is coming" and now I honestly don't think about it at all. It's like im just used to getting thru my day with extra weight on my body.

Is it normal not to think about the baby at all at this point? I do, but not like I used to. Im more exhausted than I have been during any point in my pregnancy, and sleep is difficult but nothing is unbearable... I just feel like myself...?

Sometimes just because you are tired you can get a little complacent about the baby arriving. I wouldn't worry too much about it. It will all come to a head once you go into labor. You will feel the excitement rush back and you will be eager to see your new little bundle. By the end of my pregnancies I was just so tired of being pregnant I wanted those little ones out of there.
Being more exhausted now is so common and I wouldn't worry too much about it. Even if you can't sleep, rest as much as you can.

Your bub is a good size. Congrats on growing a healthy bub. My first son was 10 pounds when he was born 4 days over due and my little girl was only 6 pounds 9 ounces 4 days early. My last little boy was 7 pounds and 5 ounces 3 weeks before his due date so I was heading for another 10+ pound baby.

Pamper yourself if you can during this last little bit of your pregnancy. You deserve it having worked so hard making a little life during your pregnancy. Have a warm bath with lavender oil and candles and relax. Spend time rubbing your baby bump as it won't be there anymore very soon.

Good luck and congrats on the birth of your new little one. Wishing you a very satisfying and enjoyable birthing experience.

I think it's good to feel like yourself. You are in the last days of your pregnancy when you should be at your most calmest. You understand that you are going to be a mother, that the baby is going to come and you are prepared for it! Enjoy this non-hectic time and relax!!

That's good! Enjoy it while you can...I was that way with my first pregnancy. I was comfortable until the day I went into labor, and it was a wonderful experience. I'm happy that you aren't miserable! It's rare...enjoy it honey!!!
