Questions are found frequently here on this Forum from American voters - probably most are first timers - some very basic features of the Election process. For a society which is well educated, it looks strange how they are not informed. Can some one, well informed on the subject, squeezes some time to give in simple and lucid manner the pertinent information for the benefite of such sections of people.

Times s 2: You are right. I am impressed with your answer. To give details it will be long. But your observation is as relevant as mine. A number of questions are being posted.

Will it be possible for some one like you, who is taking pains to clarify each time, to do a little favor to keep some material ready which is brief but comprehensive and post each time such questions appear. You may continuously refine.Of course it would be taxing. Thank you again for your relevant reply.

The problem is that there are very few basic features of the election process. Every state does things slightly differently (whether you are talking about school board elections or choosing delegates for the national conventions). Even explaining the basic rules for the two major political party's presidential nomination system is a two-page essay.

When the questions are asked about a particular feature, many of us have posted explanations or links to sites with full explanations. People just need to do a little search of previously asked questions rather than posting new questions.
