I'm not sure.
I'm applying to.
I'm from Los Angeles, CA.
My GPA: 3.8
ACT: 30.
have taken 5 AP's as well.
I play 1 sport.
I have other extracurriculars: singing (choir) , knitting for the needy, etc.

But I think your chance is okay. It's so hard to say, colleges constantly change their minds about what their typical student is.

The campus is really nice. It has a gorgeous environment and I think it would be nice to attend Oxy.

Yes, I've lived in L.A. my whole life. I really like it, my favorite part about living in L.A. is that there is something for everyone and for every mood. It's great and despite the bad stereotypes, there really is a wide variety of people and I really love it here.

The date to report SAT scores to Oxy is by January 10th.

It most definitely is amazing. :)

Well, your ACT score is within the middle 50% of people they admitted this year, so on that count you are fine. I don't know how your GPA translates into a 4.0 scale, though. If it isn't at least a 3.25, you will have trouble. Also, in looking at the College Board's site, Oxy counts things like work experience and volunteer work more highly than they do test scores (something I've never seen before). They are looking for someone with a rigorous academic schedule. So it is hard to know how you might do with them.
