For me, her sarcasm and blatant bias ruin any legitimate point she may be making. I can't read anything she writes or listen to her speak without getting angry with the way she presents it, even if I agree with her. Every book title, every article, every word she writes or says seems to have the intended goal of denigrating liberals.
That's just as pointless and destructive as liberals attacking conservatives. Sure, for a conservative, a book titled "How to talk to liberals (if you must)" is funny, but would a book titled, "How to talk to conservatives (if you must)" be equally funny? Not so much. People like her are wasting their time because they're preaching to the choir.
I have very little patience with partisan punditry.
Reading things like, "So this little stretch-marked cornpone is either lying, has a closed head injury, is a complete ignoramus -- or all of the above" annoys me too much for me to even consider what her larger point may be, or whether that point may be valid.
I wish the state of political discourse weren't so divisive and needlessly hateful. (See YA for near-constant examples...) But that's the way it is.
Incidentally, I disagree with her on this point: " The mainstream media keep flogging Huckabee for being a Christian, apparently unaware that this "God" fellow is testing through the roof in focus groups."
Unless she defines the mainstream media as "CNN, and sometimes the New York Times," she's wrong about that. He caught a bit of flak and spurred some controversy over the implied symbolism in his Christmas ad, but as someone who works in the media and consumes news voraciously, I can tell you I haven't witnessed much, if any, "flogging" of him for his Christian beliefs.
I'm not a Huckabee fan. I'm just saying.

Is this a "the-enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my- friend" type of question?
I read the article, but knowing Ann Coulter and having a little bit of intuition, I would guess that she's making good points based on the wrong reasons.
Some white supremacist supported Ron Paul with a $500 donation. So he makes sense only in supporting Ron Paul, but does so for some ridiculous reasons, I bet. Get what I'm saying?

Ann Coulter is a nut job. Sometimes she makes me sorry that we have freedom of speech. People just need to ignore her crazy rantings.

Sounds like a typical Ann Coulter hate-rant, done in her usual incomprehensible gibberish. Her words, phrases and ideas don't even logically connect. She sounds likes a drug addict trying to explain to a policeman why she just had to drive that car through the supermarket window.
Is she writing lyrics for a Fruit Loops commercial or just greasing the rails to Auschwitz?
She is the most disgusting, ignorant and morally abhorrent person ever given a public rostrum that I can recall short of Joe McCarthy---another loathsome human being.
She seems to actually revel in human suffering.
Frightening--chilling lack of human feelings. I suspect she is somewhat of a pyschopath.

As old Rush Limbaugh used to say, "Truth is the one weapon against which there is no defense!"

I think Coulter has always made sense, despite her sarcasm. Well, leftists think sarcasm is a proper means of expression so she's just giving 'em a dose of their own medicine.
Huckabee is a hypocrite with his finger to the wind all right, a deserved target of Coulter's anti-loony prodding. Fake conservatives are no better than overt leftists.

She always makes several good points. Some people don't realize that because they refuse to read her columns based on ideology alone.
