How do i take a sticky type of candy off a carpet?

its found under the couch and its been there abit but still soft looks like some kind of either carmel or soemthign like that

OK get a hand towel and get a iron , but the towel over the spot , and then iron the towel on high heat , this will loosen it and it will end up on the towel . But be sure to keep checking the carpet you don't want to burn it. And after you get most of it up then use a carpet cleaner. or shampooer. Good luck.
