It does not change anything. You won't even know you had it done. Recovery is 3-5 days.
I had mine done when I was 21. I never had children. That was 20 years ago. It never affected anything.
Your wife might be more interested in sex after you get it because she won't have to worry about getting prego.
I have known a lot of men asked by their spouses to get vasectomies. Many of the men fear pain, and so forth. The funny thing is, most of the men that have said fear have tattoos and body piercing. I can assure you that both tattoos, and body piercing hurt a lot more than getting a vasectomy. Many also ride dirt bikes with no helmet, and smoke. Don't they realize that such things are much more dangerous than a vasectomy?

I had a vasectomy 35 years ago. The facts are - having a vasectomy does not effect your desire, your libido or your ability to get an erection or enjoy sex. When you have a climax, everything looks and works the same, except that there is no sperm in your seminal fluid.
It's a relatively simple operation done in the doctors office on a local, usually takes less than 1/2 an hour, and you get to go home right away. You will be a bit sore for a few days, so don't go to the doctors on your cycle - hehehehe. Also, you should go back to the doctor after a few weeks to get a fertility test to make sure that all the sperm are gone. Technically, a vasectomy can be reversed BUT the reversal is not always successful.
So - before you do this, it's more important to make sure it's something you really want to do, because it is quite possibly permanent.

If you are less than 35, don't do it. Life has a way of sneaking up on you, and there may be a future desire for more children. As far as masturbation or performance, no, it will not make a difference in either. (Once you have healed of course) My ex husband basically forced me to have my tubes tied after I bore our second child. I am remarried now, and really regret that action. Vasectomies are more easily reversed than tubal ligations, but, there are many forms of birth control for your wife to choose from.

Masturbating isn't affected at all when you have a vasectomy. All they do is cut off the supply of sperm, so that you won't get her pregnant. The white stuff still comes out when you have an orgasm, there's just no tadpoles in it. You won't even feel a difference when you masturbate.
It's just a nice substitute for a condom (assuming she doesn't have an STD).

You will be sore for a week or two. Then you will see or feel no difference. Unless there is complications as with any procedure. vasectomies are very simple procedure done in the Dr.s office so chance for complication's/infection are very small.

Having a vasectomy had no negative effect whatsoever on my sex life. If anything, it freed me from worrying about getting a woman pregnant. Had mine 24 years ago at 28, no regrets!

Vasectomy will not affect marturbation. I will recommend you discuss this with your doctor and get a second opinion, there are other options to prevent pregnancies and if you are not sure about this do operation. Please see medical advise before you make up your mind.

no.vasectomy does not affect your ability to get an erection, just your ability to create a child. it is a simple procedure and is reversible. make sure when you go for it you get a surgeon who knows how to do both procedures, the vasectomy and the reversal.

i had one years ago and within 2 days until now it never affected me physically in any way shape or feeling. you will never know you had it physically. i only suggest you think it out very good before and your age plays a large part in that thought.your doctor should school you both before the procedure to explain pros and cons.
