The main differences were minor - the CSA Constitution outlawed the slave trade, disallowed changes to rivers that affected navigation, made contracts with the national government concrete (ie, no paying more then the original bid), and had a single six-year term for the President.

EDIT: bonniebl... 's statement about disallowing the end of slavery is correct but that was just one example of states maintaining their sovereignty. Individual states could outlaw slavery but the national government could not.

It basic structure and some of the sentences were almost exactly the same. The point that was emphasized over and over was states' rights. The power of the federal government over the state governments is why they seceded in the first place.

None, its the United States. There are no confederate states.

basically excactly the same thing ect that the confedaterate states said that their shall be no laws limiting the state powers includding that slavery shall NEVER be outlawed
