Worst (no order):

William Clinton: 21 federal indictments, impeached, and general corruption

Franklin Roosevelt: After running on a capitalist platform, he renamed the American Socialist Party's platform the new deal and implemented it causing the depression to be extended by several years and ushering in mass socialism.

John Kennedy: Nearly caused WWIII due to his blunders in Cuba and sent US combat troops into Vietnam.

Woodrow Wilson: needlessly involved the US in WWI, started US on socialist trend, and steered the US into an era of unrealistic international institutions, and ultimately paved the path for the pacifistic isolationism that nearly allowed the Axis to win WWII.

US Grant: most corrupt administration in history

EDIT: kcbob - Re: JFK: it was worse then that. The original plan was to go into the mountainous regions to the east where the population was mostly anti-Castro, form a new government, which would then ask for US assistance against Castro. JFK changed the plan to go into the Bay of Pigs and topple Castro directly but then changed his mind on the promised air support at the last minute. The JFK plan probably wouldn't have worked even with air support but calling it off was tantamount to murdering the Cubans invading the beachhead.

Here's mine:

(1) Ulysses S. Grant like GWB = most uninformed president in history, an egotistical idiot, better known as a jock for war.

(2) James Buchanan = constitutional doctrines & the courts ruined him, he could not read between the lines and a justice reinforced slavery right under his nose.

(3) Herbert Hoover = stock market crashed under his watch.

(4) William Jefferson Blythe III aka Bill Clinton = one of the only presidents impeached in our history, along with his wife, they conned Arkansas constituents into havoc with bad land deals, which shows their greed, and are direct causes for numerous suicides and deaths.

(5) Andrew Jackson = he wanted the presidency to be rotated among deserving persons (and I can just imagine who he felt was deserving in his day), and was one of the most racist individuals to be president.

1. Jimmy Carter(hands down!)Failure to release hostages in Iran,didn't renew P.Canal lease(now owned by China!)Was attacked by a rabbit(?).

2. George Bush,Sr.

3.Bill Clinton(and wife)

4.Richard Nixon Could have been one of the best,but........well,you know.

5. JFK Could have had a Cuba Libra today, but he called off air support for the Bay of Pigs invasion while patriots were on the beaches.Hundreds were killed and hundreds were captured and tortured with their wives and children. Many are still in cuban prisons yet today. And Cuba still isn't Libra.I loved JFK,but he deserves this rating.

Carter should be #1. I'd put Nixon in Clintons spot and move Clinton to #6 or so.
