You must be somewhat concerned if you're asking this question; and let's hope he wins.... if not we will keep throwing away our civil rights/liberties.

Oh, and he's a nut job because he believes in the Constitution and the TRUE role of the Federal Government, right??
What do you think people thought of the founding fathers when they wanted to fight England to establish liberty and freedom?

You should educate yourself thoroughly before you ask or answer a question like this.

I think his role is getting us to think - to look at what the Founding Fathers intended, to read The Constitution.

But I don't think he's nut job. He is a Republican - registered and representative of what Republicans used to be. He stands for common sense, personal responsibility and smaller government. Sound familiar? Yes? Those are Republican values.

He answered every question on "Meet the Press" but when Russert said something about earmarks and tried to label Paul as a hypocrite, Paul did laugh at him.

Then he answered.

Earmarks are the way things are set up now. He would end them if he could. But while the system is set up as it is, he would be remiss in his duties to not advocate for those who elected him.

I have never been into politics at all until I heard Ron Paul speak and I learned more from a 2 hour session listening to him than anyone ever. He is honest, a doctor and a statesman which we have not had the likes of in many many years. He has more supporters here and across the world. He is a hero, for the people, for less spending which includes the expensive and morality of the war on terror. When it comes to straw polls which are actual people showing up some where to vote he has won more than any other.
Time to get educated this might hurt a bit It did when I seen it.
I learned a lot on this short piece, shocking.

What about Ron Paul makes him a nut job? Because he tells it like it is instead of just saying what everyone wants to hear? He's far more educated and sound of mind than any other candidate running.

A nut job? For wanting to follow the Constitution?

For wanting to follow a policy of non-intervention to prevent problems like we are seeing now?

For wanting to reduce federal government back to what it is supposed to be?

For wanting to restore state and individual rights?

What once was considered attributes of a patriot now earn the label "nut job".

And people wonder why we are where we are.

I hope you honestly don't believe he is a nut job. He is the only one with a clear voting record. Please do your own research so you can have an informed opinion.
RON PAUL- finally hope for America.
His legacy will live on.

You people think Ron Paul is a nut because he is the only one who speaks with common sence. Look how far we are in debt because of Bush. Every other country can kiss my ***. This our country take care of our people here not in Iraq. Anyone who opposes him is a moron.

The fact that you call him a nut job speaks to the sad state our country is in. What Ron Paul stands for is the CONSTITUTION! The document that made this country different from any where else in the world. It was not all that long ago that he would have been looked upon as a mainstream candidate. I hope he wins , but if not then his supporters will grow and his movement will become a problem for globalist "nut jobs" we have in power now!

I hope he wins, and not to legalize drugs or to specifically eradicate the IRS (though, do you know anyone, even those of us who try to be up front about our income, who doesn't fear them?), but because he is the ONLY person running who doesn't flip flop on the issues. I know where he stands and I can look at 20 years of his voting record and see proof! I do believe the federal government is a bloated monster and I don't agree with the Patriot Act even though someone doing surveillance on my life would be bored to death. I would like to see this country restored to its former greatness as a nation of FREE people (who are responsible for their own families and their less fortunate neighbors) rather than continue on its path toward fascism. I am 40, not 12 -24 and have a doctorate. If he is so crazy, then why do all the most respected members of my tiny rural town (the doctors, lawyers, small business owners) have Ron Paul signs in their yards? I haven't seen a sign for any other candidates in our town.
