If you have the looks and the moves there can be a lot of money in it, especially if you can handle yourself well in that type of enviroment. It takes a confident, strong, mentally healthy person with goals who can avoid the stress of dealing with drunk, obnoxious, sometimes gross customers. Find a good qaulity club and check it out a few times before you commit, then make a list of pros and cons.

If this is what you love to do and you can keep your brains in tack, then you can make good money. BUT you have to treat it like every job and put as much money in the bank as you can. NO drugs, NO booze, and invest your money in stocks and other things because you will not be a stripper forever. Live a normal quiet life and put the money in the bank. Most women in this profession end up into drugs and drinking and spending their money on things they really don't need. If you can think of it as a business and keep your brains in it, you can make good money.

If you love it and have the body for it then go for it. Don't know if there is a career in it, but the money can help you pay for another career.

The money is good and sucks you in, but give yourself a timeline and stick to it
