I know several women who have gotten implants and with in a year or so, divorced their husbands. this may be just a coincidence. but it seems like it isn't. the husbands said it changed their personality. has anyone else heard of this happening? i dont think i ever want my wife to get them if it could be true.

i say several i have heard of 4 cases. know whether it was the man or woman who had the actual issue is unkown. i only have one side of each story. but my wife has said several times she didnt want them. so i think im safe from this legend anyway. lol

Well... in my opinion if you put implants in a woman with low self esteem it will indeed change her. If you put implants in a woman who is comfortable with herself nothing will change. Here's my story. My fiance - low self esteem but flirty, implants 3 months before marriage, married - lots of attention at work, she left me 3 months later for an old boyfriend who works with her... we wre together for quite sometime before. I stand by the implants changed her completely.

I think it depends on both.
-A woman could get more confidence and more men are attracted to her and she could stray.
-A man could be jealous about the new attraction and start to become possesive and abusive towards the woman.
-A man could have been pushy about her getting a boob job and afterwards the woman might not get what she expected from her man.(Their marriage might already be faulty and she might have hoped that getting the boob job for him would make things better, but it doesn't)
There's various reasons why. I don't think that getting implants would just make a woman leave. If you and your wife have a solid relationship and she wants a boob job and you're willing to let her have it...then let her have one, show her that you love her afterwards, and don't get TOO jealous if other guys are checking her out(of course it's ok if you get a little jealous).
Like someone else said...after having kids a woman's body isn't what it used to be. She may not feel comfortable and not want to have sex. After getting plastic surgery she may feel better about herself. You have to give her the attention that she'll want.

I'd say if that happens its because the man develops a complex and it causes problems. I got implants almost a year ago after 17 yrs w/my husband. He didnt really understand why I wanted them, he felt like he liked how I was so why did I need them? But its nothing to do with that. you dont mention if your wife has had children- I have 2 kids and that changed the shape of my breasts so for me, I just wanted to gain back what I'd lost. If anything-I am happier and my husband is happier because I am. I dont show them off, or wear low cut shirts-they are 100% for him and he knows it.

Yes I have a friend who had a breast enhancement done and 14 months later she was divorced. I do not believe it is the implants that cause the diverse. It is a frame of mind that causes it. She was not happy before and she got a great deal of male attention after that she did not get from her husband. There fore it was divorce

Never heard of that, but what are her real reasons for getting implants? She wants to attract other men?
If you love her the way she is, just tell her so and try to convince her she doesn't need the implants.

It's not the implants. It's the attitude that caused them to want the implants. Trying to shine up the bumper for others to see. Understand?

I've heard of that happening. I'm sure it totally depends on the woman though. If your relationship is on solid ground BEFORE you pop for the operation, you'll have years of fun play. If you've already been cut off, she's looking for a bigger trailer!

Yes, I have heard of this. This old lady at work got implants and during lunch time, she is gone for hours with the men from the warehouse. It doesn't change you-- it UNMASKS you. The real you comes out.

Maybe the husbands can't handle the male attention that their wives receive. If your marriage is strong don't worry. If something like that can ruin your marriage then their is a big problem.

Two of my buddy's wives got implants. They're just as happy today as when they had the operation done.
