Not in this life.

How can you know the meaning of something when you're stuck in the middle of it? If nothing else, it's completely subjective and doesn't apply any beauty that we may have missed throughout a life's span. Such a question is unfair, however. As humans, we'd like to think that it all comes together at some point-- and I guess that's the point of philosophy; To find out what our life is for, it's meaning... what happens later, etc. It all comes full circle, but one could argue that it is exactly that which makes it so beautiful. It is in the uncertainty that we find beauty; Beauty of interpretation, art, and mystery. THIS is the only knowledge that can ever be internally proven in this life. What one learns about themselves and others throughout their life's span will obviously vary, however, it all boils down to those concepts-- that NOTHING is set in stone. A wise, old man couldn't add much more truth in an objective answer... because he will have learned things his way, and I my own. The essence of life lies within this one paradoxical truth.

"There is one thing that I know, and that is that I know nothing."
- Socrates.

I guess I went a little off-topic, but I'm really passionate about this. I guess just getting this message across is my own personal meaning in this life- but again, it's all subjective. I just want to show people that their essence is a perception, and the "real essence" is impossible to determine- at least in this life.

Unless that essence has prohibited itself from realizing itself I would say that if you are experiencing life you are the essence of life. An essence of life that is not enjoying itself fully at least as that can be considered an ill essence and in need of help since it cant say it knows the essence of life. In other words if you are an essence that has learned about the essence of life you are an essence that realizes yourself as you are. This is what being human is all about essentially.

I never will. There is so much I've lived through, and so much more to go. If I decided today that I knew what life is all about, I'd miss out on every amazing, sad, happy, lovely, odd, confusing, etc...thing that would happen each and every day until the end.
I'd rather cherish every moment, and keep the journey fresh and wonderful than to give in and say, that's it. A spiritual death, to say I've reached the end of the journey, I know.....
