The updates take up so much memory so I wanted to delete all updates except the most recent one.

No, I wouldn't delete the previous updates. But given the size of a hard drive, they don't take up *that* much space anyhow ;-)

You can however remove the Hotfix Uninstallers.

Do you mean all the hidden folders with $'s in their names under the Windows folder? If you delete them you won't be able to uninstall the updates, otherwise no harm.

Are sure you need to? If you so desperately need the extra 100MB or so of disk space on a 40GB or 80GB disk, you're teetering close to the limit and urgently need a larger disk. If you don't need the space, leave the folders alone. They're not doing any harm and not using any memory. (Disk space yes, memory no.)

No it isn't. They are installed for a reason and removing the updates would make you vunerable to the risk they are trying to protect you from.

If you want to save space, try deleting your old System Restore points and defragging the drive (as a fragmented drive can cause space errors).

No, because when you delete previous security updates they will not function properly and your computer is in danger of getting hacked or break down.

I would say no, and they don't take up that much memory, most of them overwrite the other, when a newer version some avaible.

What does that up memory, are games, programs you install, videos, pictures and document.

Windows updates, are important and don't take up a lot of space.

No, you need each one. They each fix a specific flaw. Each new patch doesn't fix everything, it just comes out to fix the latest problem.
