Yes. For without the belief of something that I am willing to stand and fight for, stand and try to change, stand and learn from, then there is really no reason for life at all. Every breath we take, every time wake up in the morning, we are believing and taking a stance that we are alive and that this day we will fight to stay alive. We not only fight for those things unseen but those things we can see. Fighting as you put it is what bonds all living things together.

Yes. Most of us reside in the strongest democratic nation in the history of the world. Not to fight for our belief systems should be considered a disgrace. I vote in every election, and I also stand up for my beliefs to the nth degree. I fight for tolerance, fairness, and equality for all, and for peace.
