You see each other as competition. Plain and simple. Probably based on your insecurities and jealousy...........

Society is becoming increasingly less male-dominated all the time, as I'm sure you may have noticed.
Females who bash each other would also bash anybody who crossed them or displeased them or disappointed them.
I don't bash anyone, and that is maybe why I have been married for 33 years to a woman who still loves me.
I think you are generalizing, and it sounds as if you have anger and bitterness in your heart.
It would be a good thing to deal with that, and to not wear your heart on your sleeve in the meantime.

generally speaking, women have been the same since the beginning of time
we are proud of anything we accomplish...be it graduating valedictorian or bashing another woman's reputation beyond repair...we criticize only what we don't possess ourselves...and we are very possessive
when a guy cheats, he cheats...period.
we see it as the woman's fault only because he is with another woman, not us...and if our ego is inflated enough, we don't care if she knew or not...she becomes the enemy regardless!
when we dress to compete with each other, it IS dressing for that male attention...there ain't no competition between the women other than to get the male's attention ultimately

I agree women treat other women ..awful. We are not good to each other. I disagree with your opinion---that we dress for each other. That's not true...we mostly dress for ourselves.to feel good, be proud of the way we look. Let's face it, the world treats us better if we look good and take care of ourselves.
I dont always blame the woman ..that she draws men into cheating. It is almost always the man who seeks out the woman. He will see a woman who is needy and then pray on her. Men are usually at fault.

I agree, it's really sad isn't it. When I see a woman that appears uneasy or stand-offish around me, I will compliment her on something that she's wearing or her hair, just to let her know that I'm not a threat and we have to stick together as women.

Yeah but this truely doesn't apply to everyone. I generally like most women * I am one myself; and I have a lot of female friends. I don't feel jealous or catty with most women. I do however notice that some are that way with each other and that makes me sad. It really just boils down to feeling poorly about theirselves and jealous of some other woman.

Well, That is just how some women are but instead of bashing each other we need to learn how to support our fellow sister and who knows we might learn something.

females will always see other females as competition for whatever... that will never change.. it's a shame that every woman cannot just be herself and be happy. Some woman love the drama they create... misery loves company!!

That's why they call women catty. Yet with all our cattiness to each other we still stick together most of the time better than men do.
