Absolutely...NOT. All Presidential candidates are chosen solely by the electoral college delegates from each party, in each state, using the "Rock, Paper, Scissor" method.
Seriously, yes, your vote counts in determining the winner of the electoral college for President, and every vote counts in all other local, state (to include Congressional and Senate) races. These races are determined wholly on who gets the most actual votes. If the count is close, then they did into the provisional ballots.
So study the issues, study the candidates, and vote.

Only if given decent choices.
Is anyone stupid enough to think both candidates will be a good president? Only when Americans realize they need to vote for 3rd party candidates regardless of their chances of winning will we get decent candidates in the big 2 parties. I voted for Ross P. and also Libertarians in the last 3 of 4 elections. Americans seem to believe it is better to vote for the lesser of 2 evils then the best of all of them. SOOOOO STUPID!!!!!!!!
