Spray some water over it firstly, then sprinkle some baking soda over the top of that. Then put 3 tablespoons of white vinegar into a spray bottle filled with warm water and spray again. Then usse a steelo pad and scrub it off, it should just slide off.

Glass ovenware is usually the easiest to clean. Some soaking in hot water may do the trick but if not -

The oven off spray cleaner - or soak in very hot water with oxy clean and then use the magic eraser :)

About the best thing that I can offer to you is to use baking soda & water but make a so called paste out of it (using more baking soda then water) let it sit for just a lil while maybe about 10 minutes or longer depending on how thick the baked on film is then use what we call a dobbie pad (it's a little abrasive but won't scratch your glassware) applying some pressure this should pull most of the film off of the glassware. Hope this helps

Dawn makes this stuff called Power Disolver. Works great on baked on grease on glassware and stoves. You spray on and leave for 15 or 20 minutes, then use either a scrub pad or an sos pad and it comes right off.

Use dawn liquid soap and hot water, leave it soak for a while, then take SOS pads and wash it. It will take a good while before it comes off. And if you have a dishwasher that will wash it off too.

I have faced that too.

Oven cleaner may work but buy the non fume brand if you don't want to breathe the fumes!.

Even if you don't have a dishwasher.. Get some cheap liquid dishwasher detergent.. Apply a thin film of dishwashing liquid to the glass dish and let it soak in hot water... The brown "film" will wipe off..

Good luck

Spray it with oven cleaner and let is soak over night. i mean lots Then the next day wipe it out and use a Brillo pad...
or you can use a steam cleaner, maybe even an sos pad, just soak it,
ive used vinigar, andr or baking soda because it wont hurt what i cook in it with harsh chemicals,

Spray quick acting/cold oven cleaner on it and let it sit for the length of time it says on the can...it should remove the film fairly easily. Good Luck!
