Sorry no little children ...but when I was a little girl I'd take all the bows and tape them to my hair so my head was covered in bows of all colors. The thing was later on to get them out of my hair with out pulling it all out !

My third child was like that. He never played with a toy ever so we stopped buying them for him!
He was much more interested in writing on the walls, (and his face in permanent marker) cutting up your curtains or sheets, you know the type. And yes, the pots and pans and boxes and wrappers were MUCH more interesting than any gift that came with it.
He is very athletic, active and bright as a 10 year old and just is more people and activity oriented, loves to socialize. Give him a pair of Healeys or a skateboard and look out world, you won't know what whizzed by you.
They are all different! You gotta love 'em dontcha?

Yes! The kids were playing basketball with wadded up wrapping paper while their toys sat in the middle of the floor! The dogs even got into the act and everyone was laughing and having a good old time! So much for consumerism* Fun is cheap!!

My Mom used to say when we were kids we had more fun with the boxes and wrapping papers than the actual toys. Especially if there was a really big box....

My kids always ended up playing with the gift boxes about an hour after opening their gifts. Now my granddaughter does the same thing! LOL I guess it is universal!

Hahaha!
My niece had so much fun picking up all of the bows, putting them into a gift bag, passing them out as presents, then collecting the bows, putting them into a gift bag, passing them out, collecting all of the gift bows, putting them into a gift bag, passing them out, collecting the bows....
You know where I'm going.
Low tech is the best, isn't it?
