There must be a demand somewhere, else they wouldn't be making money hand over fist selling those mags....
I, for one, could care less but know that others live vicariously through those who they perceive have a more exciting life than their own.
I also think some just wait for those celebs to crash and burn, so they can feel better about themselves...

I can see how people can be a bit too obsessed with famous people. But I don't see how people can be obsessed with celebs like Miley Cyrus.

very much agree with you.... if the papparazzi are the ones who end up getting the blame for the late Princess Dianas death then really all the people who have ever brought a magazine or book or anything with her in it are to blame as we are the ones who create the damand for the photographs. and really?!?!? can we belive anything in those magazines. i also can understand how Brittney Spears' mind is now unwell because lets face it.. would you be able to handle people mobbing you every day of your life?

Yea. It sickens me when news programs broadcast all that crap about who's in rehab or jail or who only weighs 65 pounds. Who cares?!! When I watch the news, I want to see news that actually matters. People need to make their own lives a little more exciting.

I agree with you in a way.But people wanna know about their fave celebs/role models. Also, people love juicy gossip. They want in the know and something to talk about and to when they get bored.

its stupid because if you really think about it celebs are just normal people just like you and me.And people like obsess over celebs, when those people are just like your next door neighbors!!i dont care if its shamoo or carmen electra its dumb.
