I have dyed red hair, and uh, i wear a black sweatshirt everyday. I get cold. and I want to be a cheerleader next year, and I wear glasses. my hair is down to my shoulders and i have bangs to the tip of my nose.I know what stores to shop at but I need makeup tips, HOW to wear my clothes like preps do and some hairstyle ideas. I also like My Chemical Romance and old rock bands and stuff.

Well first it depends on were you live. You can be an East Coast prep or a West Coast prep.
East-
East Coast is more of a WASPy look. Very minimal makeup, just stick to the basic power (foundation if needed), gloss and eyeliner/shadow. Your hair should always be sleek and tidy(either up in a cute pony or straightened). For clothes I would do a cute button up/polo (from Lacoste (or A&F if you have to)) paired a cute skirt/ jeans. Flats are a big must, wear flats with everything.
(This kind of prep is more understated look)
WEST-
West Coast is more of a beachy look. Your hair should be in cute sort of waves (when its wet just scrunch it.) Your makeup should also be very minimal, again power and gloss are a must, but this time got a little heavier on the eyes to make them pop (mascara and eyeliner). For clothes its more mini skirts/shorts, camis and flip flops (maybe a cute shrunken cardigan when its cold). For this look think Kristen from Laguna Beach.

uh un dye ur hair wear some clothes that are in style from the mall
don't wear glasses
change the way ur hair looks every day wear it down or up or curly or wavy

"preps" where i live:
- loose, scrunched curls in their hair
- wear skinny jeans & patterned converse
- shop at american eagle, hollister, a&f, aritzia
- side bangs (like Jessica Alba) or blunt bangs (Lily Allen)
- read Seventeen
- wear mascara & blush (eyeliner is out)
- do their hair in two curly braids
- wear uggs
- txt msg e/o cnstntly lyk srsly
- take pictures with best friends
etc.
idk, watch the "preps" & cheerleaders
@ your school and see their makeup & hair.

Why would you wish to become a prep and throw away your individuality? Be yourself. You don't become a prep you sipmly are a prep. You don't become yourself you ARE yourself. Saavy?

Well, i know what you mean about getting cold. If you want to stay warm and still look "preppy" than you should get long sleeve shirts from hollister, ae. ect. To look "preppy" you have to be confident, but it's not just appearence it's how you carry yourself. Don't be all hunched over and shy. Don't do all this to yourself to impress other people, do it for yourself. Don't loose touch with your personality! : ) Good Luck.

well anyways i would where american eagle firstly, hollister, abercrombie and fitch get blonde hair or brunette hair
well you dont have to totally change who you are in terms of music to be prep im prep and i like every possible type of music
but mostly to be prep its how you look and act i guess

and im not really a prep
i dont hang out with the "preps"
i dont even hang out with the cheerleaders
lol
wear abercrombie and hollister and american eagle
and get rid of the black sweatshirt
like dont wear it everyday no offense but thts gross
buy different kinds of jackets like 3-4
dress really cute and wear eyeliner and mascara, coverup, and lipgloss
u can add eyeshadow if u want to

When you say red, how red are we talking? Natural like or realllly screaming fire engine red? (Because some cheer teams won't allow colored hair.)
