How can I know if the oil gage or the oil pump is not working.The oil gage start working after five minutes.

You should check the oil pressure with a manual guage.
Then if your electric guage is not right, you can change the sending unit first, then the guage.

the oil pump isnt workin when there is no oil pumped and then your engine will seize it will throw a rod there will be alot of friction and a major loss of performance

If your car was made after 1941 wich it was im sure....you probably have a bad sending unit, hard to reach, but cheap to fix....go to www.partsamerica.com. they"ll have what you need.
