Use bill payer at your bank and it can send payments to all your creditors for you so you don't have to write checks at all. Having just one payment isn't a great advantage and probably not worth the loan fees. It may increase you cost because of higher interest rates with your FICO score.

Practically any type of loan can be wrapped into the debt consolidation process. Common types include finance charges, late fees and overdraft charges, credit cards, personal loans, utility bills, medical bills, car loans, store cards, gas cards and back taxes. A debt consolidation loanold loans are replaced with a new one that has more favorable terms. goto a local bank or credit union and talk to a loan officer. Tell them what yo want to do. They may give you a personal loan to consolidate or put it all on one of their credit cards. I personally did this. i took all of my statements to my credit union and they gave me the loan on the stipulation that they would be allowed to close all of the loans/cards. I did this and they approved the loan, paid off everything and now i just have one credit card payment
