ok i just got a (used) computer for christmas, and it worked ok for a while besides some small fixable problems, but now ive run into a big problem. If i'm on the computer for longer then about 20 minutes the whole computer shuts off (its not overheating). Then i have to wait a while before it will let me back on. When it comes back on it says the problem was caused by the ATI graphics driver, but it doesnt know how to fix the problem but suggests i update it. The laptop is only several years old, its a toshiba satellite, windows xp. And the hardware that has the problem is ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP. Has anyone had this problem before? What could it be and if it is that i need to update it then could you please post the link to download the update. First person who resolves the problem gets best answer. Thanks

As you did not list the make and model of the laptop, I can not give you the specific link. But you need to go to the web site of the laptop manufacturer and look in their Download/Drivers section. Look up your model and they will have the recommended driver for your computer. As they may have customized the installed, it is recommended that you check the laptop site, not the video card site (ATI) for the driver you need.

Seems there was a problem with Toshiba and that driver.
This driver will support:
Devices this driver supports:
ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7000 IGP
ATI PCI IDE Bus Master Controller
ATI RS200/RS200M/RS250M Accelerated Graphics Port
ATI RS300/RS300M Accelerated Graphics Port
ATI RS350 Accelerated Graphics Port
