Mitt Romney has been accused of flip-flopping by every one of his opponents, including McCain, and he has owned up to it every time.

But what of McCain's flip-flopping? When Romney points out that McCain used to be for allowing illegal immigrants to remain in this country and against the Bush tax cuts, but has changed position on each in the last month or so, what did McCain have to say about it? That Romney's claims were "flailing and false attacks".

So, what part of Romney's statements were false; that McCain voted for a bill to allow illegals to remain; that he opposed the Bush tax cuts; or that he's changed his position?

And don't give me a "Romney's an idiot" answer. How is McCain not a flip-flopper on these issues?

Chi, exactly what is wrong with Romney pledging to donate his salary? He's a multi-millionaire. Why would he need a government paycheck?

while I agree with Chi that McCain was a man of his convictions back in 2000, I didnt agree with this convictions then. So now its just worse as he isnt even that which he was.

back in 2000 he ran on campaign finance reform.. that was his platform. He didnt get the nomination... well.. when campaign finance reform wasnt even close to the top 10 in inssues concerning voters well what does he expect.
Since then he has been totally off regarding immigration.

Great serviceman. Not a great politician.

McCain used to be a man of his convictions until the neo-cons beat him into submission by choosing Bush over McCain in 2000.

Romney is the greatest panderer of all time.

Sounds to me, that Republicans are having a problem trying to stack up to Reagan while maintaining popularity.
