An opera song and singer from the 50s - Gardeamus Igitur (spelt?) sung by Mario Lanza and his backing male choir in a library and when Mario hits the high extended note.....it is so in my system...I can only remember a little bit of it but when I do it is auto g-bumps. I can only just recall the TV vision (black and white). Mario Lanza was an italian hunk.

There are so many but your answer made me think of the song "Are you Ready?" by Three Days Grace, another is "Eraser" by Smile Empty Soul, "Seize the Day" and "Scream" by Avenged Sevenfold. "Mistress" by Disturbed is another one and "We Are Broken" by Paramore. Like i said there are a lot for me, though I can't always remember the title of the song.
