Gloves because you can pick things up when you are wearing them. Mittens, your fingers are together, no help from them much when trying to pick things up. Although your fingers do stay warmer in mittens than in gloves.

I'll prefer gloves because there are many kinds of them. There are surgical gloves;plastic gloves;rubber gloves and leathered gloves.They are useful anytime compared to mittens that are only be used to warmth-up your hands.

gloves because say you are on you bike,and you need to hold the brake with your one hand if you have gloves you will probably get a better grip.if you have mittens your hands could possibly slip...
or,your driving around a sharp turn and you suddenly run out of gas you turn to the side,and try to shut of your car to get help but suddenly you hand slips and the car is still on.you pull your car into revers and then SMASH

Gloves, because its easier to hold and control things. You can also use each of your fingers at the same time.

Well, I live in Florida, so I don't have much need for either, but I would choose gloves, atleast my fingers would be free to work!
