I am planning on going to Loyola Marymount film school but I want to know if it is a good school? Have successful directors emerged from the school?

I plan on being a film director, Thank You

They do have a school of film and television

Keep in mind that the school has only been in existence for a few years, so the fact that you probably haven't heard of directors who came from there doesn't mean that people weren't trained well. No one "makes it" within two years of graduating from college! There are some very good people working there, and it is clear that the students and recent graduates have done well. I'm a little biased because I work in another school at the university, but from what I've seen, it has a lot going for it.

That don't have a film school I am aware of

Their radio department is great

Their theater department is good

Consider UCLA or if you don't mind a methodist oriented school USC
