Other than Mike Gravel, even the lowest polling Dem seems viable enough to me. Of course I would hate to see Hillary get elected. Your thoughts please.

It is a really good field of candidates. Any of them would be a good choice. I do like Hillary because of her efforts on national health care, and I think having the expertise of her obviously incredibly competent husband Bill would be a big advantage. Edwards has very good policies. I took a survey on line to determine your candidate based on your issues and mine popped up with Kucinich--another fine candidate, but probably unelectable. Some people say the media monopolies are giving star power to people they think they will be able to control, like Senators Clinton and Obama, and undeniably the media is freezing out Edwards, Kucinich, et al. However, any of these choices would be better than any of the Republicans. The bad part is that Mr. Bush has left such a disaster that it will be very hard for anybody to just get the country back to an even keel. And for every moment of their administration you can bet the whole radio industry and most of TV will be nit picking over nonsense just like they did against the most successful president in history, President Bill Clinton. The media is owned by (in every sense of the word) the Republicans, and it should be ignored.

Dennis Kucinich or Mike Gravel would be acceptable. All the rest cannot be trusted to get us out of Iraq. The illegal invasion of Iraq is the issue for 2008. Everything else is a distraction.

I know what your asking; but "run" I still think the president's job is to Serve the Citizens.

Bill Richards is the only candidate of any party that made good sense in long one on one interviews.

Honestly I struggle with this...

I like most of the Dems for various reasons.

The one that I find myself "liking" the most is Barack Obama.

But a certain polarizing female candidate might actually be better at running a country.

Even though I strongly respect Kucinich for his call to Impeach Cheney - I don't know if that really qualifies him to run the rest of the show.

The least of the Democrat candidates are better than the best of the Republican candidates.

The Repubs have sold our country down the river to big business and the military industrial complex.

Hillary. She seems to really be shaking things up, and after 8 years of 'staying the course' I am ready for politics to get a good shake up. The old boys club has got to change, and anyone that thinks this has to do with 'male/female' politics, you are wrong. It has to do with her not being invited to nor welcome in the old boys club. And no other candidate can say that. I am sure I will get a thumbs down, but hey, like I said, people are shaken up by her.

If I had to vote Democrat it would be for Senator Obama. I don't agree with a lot of his policies but he strikes me as an honest and decent guy.I think he would always do the right thing ( in his view). If not him I would go with Joe Biden as he seems to have the best grip on foreign policy.

Bill Richardson
Joe Biden

Kucinich couldn't even run Cleveland when he was mayor, so how could he run a whole country?
