Christmas eve day, I got to spend time with my mom...she is 76 and this past Oct. she died in my truck and in the ER she was shocked back to life, we were told she would be a vegetable and she is just fine...having the second chance was all I wanted/needed and am so darn thank~full for.
Christmas day, with only my husband and we had boiled dinner, alone, quiet, together.
Blessings

Well, we had family drop by,,but for the most part,,my DH and I, spent it together,,,,just the two of us....it was wonderful.....we ate, watched movies,,,,watched the fire,,,ate some more,,,watched TV...played with the cats and walked the dog.....an absolutely "do nothing" day. I wasn't feeling well and I thought he would miss all the usual things we do....found out he did most of the things because he thought I wanted to do them....I think our Christmas next year might be a repeat..it was really nice.....

Nobody. My family couldn't get together until a couple weeks from now and I'm not involved with anybody. Spent the day watching movies and catching up with some work.

i would be greater advantageous than chuffed spending Christmas with the persons I consistently spend it with.....my mothers and dads and my 2 brothers. i think a number of my contacts from Y!A could make it *greater* specific in the event that they could nicely be right here.

My husband. We do have family, but we have 'let it be known' that we PREFER to spend our 'high holidays' (Christmas and Easter) with just the two of us, alone ... they have other family and NEVER have to 'choose' and we can spend more 'mellow time' on 'normal days' with them ... and we had a MARVELOUS day, too, and ate what we wanted (only hors d'oeuvres) and didn't have to 'be polite' an do things when we didn't want to.
