His nomination may be in doubt. See what the United Press International has to say in this regard.
Poll: Clinton holding off Obama nationwide
Published: Dec. 27, 2007 at 12:04 PM
Print story Email to a friend Font size:WASHINGTON, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- A new Gallup Poll showed Sen. Barack Obama making progress in catching up to Sen. Hillary Clinton in the race for the U.S. Democratic presidential nomination.
The poll unveiled Thursday showed the nearly 30-point nationwide lead held by Clinton, D-N.Y., in the fall had slipped to less than 20 points with the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary right around the corner.
Former U.S. Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., was in third place in the survey.
Gallup said in a statement that Obama, D-Ill., still had some fundamental problems among 1,007 Democrats and Democrat-leaning independents polled Nov. 30-Dec. 2 and Dec. 14-16.
The statement noted that while Obama was gaining ground overall, Clinton was entrenched among various key Democratic sub-groups, including women, Southerners and Westerners.
"Obama runs more strongly with some groups than others but Clinton outpaces him among nearly every major demographic and political subgroup," Gallup said.

No, people aren't focusing on in right now, but if he does get the democratic nomination, a lot more light will be shown on him and the church he belongs to. The doctrine of his "church" is very Afrocentric and borderline racist, this will not only prevent him from becoming president in this election, but as long as he remains affiliated with that "church" he will never be president.

No. There are enough people in America who won't vote for any black (or female) candidate to ensure that Obama (or Hillary) will not be elected.
The media excitement over which of the two is leading in the Democratic primary means nothing. It doesn't matter which one wins the nomination; neither can win the general election. The media, loyal Democrats that they mostly are, will ignore this for as long as possible, but once the conventions are over and the candidates are selected, they will have to face facts.

I sure hope not. Before the ill timed support given by Oprah, I didn't have too much care if he did or didn't win, now she plus a few others have turned this into a racial election, and that I cannot condone.
If the blacks want a racial election, then by all means we intend to oblige and vote white whoever the candidate may be.

Technically, yes, every candidate has a chance......just of different sizes. Him, nah, I don't think you'll see him in office. Don't worry about it. And, uh, with a name oh so close to Osama, it'll be difficult for peopel to stop laughing at him and come around to listen... not that they'll agree anyways...

He and his supporters think so. I think that his chances are slightly better than Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson's were.

I very much doubt it but would much prefer to see him in over Hillary. I would also prefer Condi over Hillary so it isn't a sexist thing. Actually I can't think of anyone I would not prefer over Hillary.
