Emancipations are rarely granted, though there's no set age of 16 like some people here are suggesting. If you're a victim of abuse then you'd be more likely sent to a foster home than granted emancipation. If you just don't like your parent's rules, tough luck. If you join the army at age 17 with your parent's permission that's your best and earliest bet. Also your parents could give you permission to live with someone else, like grandparents or friend's parents, but if you got in trouble with the law it could look bad for everyone.

16 if your parents allow you to leave but they can force you to come back if they want less you get emancipated. I moved in with my boyfriend when I was 15 in our own house of course and I have lived with him even since.
