(Only 1 of these 5 people thought that only a certain class should have access to healthcare.)

Here are some quotes to offer you a hint:

"Our young movement is in its nature and inner organization anti-parliamentarian; that is, it rejects a principle of majority rule..."

"The State must declare unfit for propagation all who are in any way visibly sick or who have inherited a disease and therefore pass it on…"

"But as in economic life, the able men cannot be appointed from above - they must struggle through for themselves…"

Adolph Hitler

What did I do for the thumbs-down, spell it wrong?

But as in economic life, the able men cannot be appointed from above, but must struggle through for themselves… "

When people are required to pay for health care, it's not truly socialized. Affordable does not mean free. In a Socialist state no one pays. Post the whole quote- it's about comfort rather than health care.

Sounds like Adolph Hitler to me. He did only want young blond Arans to procreate and therefore give birth to the "Master Race".

Hitler

Which class do you speak of? The poor have healthcare via the taxpayers and the rich can afford their own. The class you need worry about is the middle class, you know the same class that would be responsible for paying for a MASSIVE, expensive, consuming national healthcare program.....

How about we go after insurance companies who rip off Americans yet charge other nations quite reasonable rates instead and let middle class America keep those tax dollars in their paycheck for a change, then they can easily afford to pay insurance premiums without government involvement....

If it was Hitler, it's because he saw those who were sick and ill as inferior, and wanted to let nature do away with them, and create an Aryan super-race. I've read his book. This is what he wanted.

You stated that, "Only 1 of these 5 people thought that only a certain class should have ACCESS to healthcare."

Kiddo, in this country, EVERYONE has access to healthcare. There is legislation in effect that prohibits hany healthcare facilities from turning away patients because of their inability to pay. WIC and the various states' CHIP programs offer adequate, free healthcare to children. Adults can apply for similar programs through welfare to obtain government aid with medical costs. What about medicare?

Also, the best of these laws which offers people healthcare benefits is the fact that the labor laws mandate that employers are required to offer coverage to employees who are at full-time status. This means that any able person who can get a full time job, should have healthcare. The hang up? Many of the people who are whining about this, are the very people who refuse to work in order to earn it.

Democrats want to push National Healthcare because they wish only to expand the government and at the same time, redistribute wealth. The people who work and pay taxes are punished because they will then be FORCED to pay for medical care of those who are unwilling to earn it. If the system were cut, rather than expanded and only allowed the folks who GENUINELY needed government ASSISTANCE (as opposed to a free ride) then the people who work hard would get to keep more of what they earned and the people who would rather be lazy would have more incentive to work hard, thus bettering themselves; and the people who NEED help will get it.

If the socialized healthcare you are thinking of is anything like the kind Mother Theresa provided, I'll pass. Do a little research on her.
