first, tell the cook what kind of bread you want, theres a picture right in your face on the left side of the window. After that tell the cook if you want 6 in sub or 12 in sub. Then, shes going to ask what do you want (ex. tuna, italian, meatball, turkey) so go ahead and tell her what you want....and make sure you tell her what kind of cheese (ex. provolone, american, swiss) then she will say "you want it toasted" you say yes...then move down the aisle to get out of everybodys way. When the toasted sub gets out the oven, it goes over to the section where you add the accessories to your sub (ex. lettuce tomatoes, onion, salt, pepper, green peppers) and tell the next cook what you want. You can ramble it off fast, they usually pick up pretty well and stuff. Then, they wrap the sandwhich and pass it off to the cashier. At that time, the cashier says "what did you get"
you tell the cashier "(ex. 12 inch turkey and cheese sub)
they ring it up and they usually ask if you want chips and drink
you pay
out the door you go

Subway is a little different then going into a fast food restaurant and ordering at the counter and sitting down to eat. You basically start at the one end of the counter and go along the front of the counter with the person waiting on you and tell them all the individual items you want on your sandwich. Such as: type of roll (white, wheat, etc), they have a menu posted and you can tell them what you are ordering but you still must move down the counter to tell them - pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato, olives, etc.
It's a little slow and if it's lunch or dinner time, it's slow since they must make the sandwiches to order. Good place but they don't keep up with the fast pace people of today. The ones I've been in are also small in seating so we usually do take out.

When you go in go to the end of the counter that says order here.
Tell them what kind of Bread you would like. Then what kind of cheese and sandwhich.
Tell them if they don't ask first whether or not you want it toasted.
Then tell them which vegitables, sauces, and seasonings you want on your sandwhich.
Complete your order by telling them if you want any extras such as a drink or chips.
Pay for order
Get whatever may be left like your drink
EAT!!!!!!
I love Subway. My ex-fiance workes there and I was always going in to eat with him. If you have any more questions just ask the employees when you go in.
