I'm failing on Finance subject for this reason , HELP!?

Question

first of all English is not my first language but im studying in English college on my city , my major is Finance and im taking 3 finance subjects , 2 of them im doing well but the other one which supposed to be the first and the easiest one , Book of Principles of Risk Management and Insurance by George E. Rejda.
but the doctor making it so difficult subject before the first exam I studied from slides , notes i take and review from the book but the doctor did not bring anything from these to exam I only was able to answer the definition part but the MultiChoice was hard to figuer the answer and he gave us some finance calculating questions diffrent than the book , my friends warn me about him and not take subjects with him , I was shocking when that doctor tried to solve the exam in the class , he had the paper on slide with answers he was reading the question and answering it but the last question wasn't has answer and he answer it wrong and I correct it to him >>>> Continu

Then he said oh ya right I forgot to put the answer …etc , I swear you guys that doctor wasn't writing the exam by him self he is taking it from some web site ,he doesn't even know how to answer it , my friends taking other subject with him they told me , he doesn't know how to answer his questions…. Ok after that I went to search all over and over on internet I visit book site which is : http://wps.aw.com/aw_rejda_prmi_9/23/6016/1540293.cw/index.html and I read the Self-Quiz and I found 3 questions were taking from that web ….I little was happy to know at least the concept of the question because we students in college our English is not professional and I know a very good student A+ got a bad mark on that exam.. anyway I studied hard from slides , book and taking self-quiz on site I did my best but I only was able to answer the definition part for sure , I could of answer some M/C but the doctor this time take the questions from another some sites which is more difficult

I was shocking and almost crying lol what else should I do , there were only 2 financial equation on book and he brought in the exam different equation to solve and different idea NOT written in book even the cases on the book

In other word our doctor takes exam questions from internet webs and he DOES NOT know how to answer it … the answer already with the question…. He never bring anything from what he explain

Help please what should I do I'm failing ,where should I search for these questions … im not asking for cheating im asking for hop I tried my best and this is the first time I feel like what im feeling right now and the reason for writing this

im sorry for bad grammar most of my friend same as my English level and some below and we have doctor like him making me have nightmare evey night

the result of exam 2 came out , it was bad and some students got 4 and 5 out of 20 worest than me few marks

Im failing but I won't give up and I know in the end I'll fail :((

I don't memories only I understand the idea too ... there is no hop for me .. I'll try to forget faling and work till the end

I cannot answer your question and hopefully someone more knowlegeable than me comes around, but my word of advice. Don't give up and know that in a year none of this will even matter. Keep your head up, and do something fun as I can see you are not having the best of days

Studying in college is not supposed to be about memorizing the cases in your book and quoting them back to the professor. You should take the ideas from the book and be able to apply them to different situations. After all, you are learning these things in order to be able to handle situations outside the classroom in real life, and those situations will never be exactly like anything in the book.

If his exam was impossible, no one in the class would have been able to do it, but you don't suggest that the other students are having similar problems. It sounds to me like you need a little more information on how to study for exams. I have no doubt that you are putting a lot of time and effort into your studying, but I suspect that you are not going about it in a very useful way, at least for this course.

If this was only the first midterm, you still have time to fix it by talking to him about how you should study differently for the next exam. If this was a final exam, it may be too late to change anything, and you may need to learn in order to handle the class better when you retake it later.
