The movie I'm looking for was released in the 80's - possibly even the late 70's - and as far as I know, only played on the Disney Channel, though I'm not sure it was a "Disney" film. I remember very little about the movie except that it centered around two boys growing up in the south (Lousiana, perhaps?); one fairly normal, the other more "countryfied." It was mentioned that this second boy could spit 6 feet from between his two front teeth. In the movie there were bad buys and possibly a witch that lived in a broken-down mansion. There was also a legend about a swamp creature called a Yahzoo, or something like that. Anyhow, I'd love to find it if anyone has any useful information. Thank You.

I know exactly what you are talking about.. I remember the name being something like .. The Boys from the Black Bayou.. or Devil's Bayou.. (some "dark" sounding bayou at any rate).. I remember at one point there is a huge storm and the boys set out to find the town's bell which is lost in the bayou..
