I just answered that question 2 nights ago!

give me a moment and I will cnp it for you

This is for the night before the hangover prior to going to bed

Eat potatoes and drink 2 glasses of cold water or gatorade before going to bed with an aspirin or ibuprofen.

The carbs from the potato will absorb some of the alcohol leftover in your stomach instead of processing all the way through the blood stream and liver. It acts like a buffer and it also helps with the electrolytes. The water or gatorade will rehydrate you which minimizes the effects of a hangover. Alcohol is a major dehydrator. The aspirin/ibuprofen will help with muscle cramps from the possible dehydration as alcohol can situate itself along the muscle tissue causing cramps.

My home remedy works for me everytinme for when I feel I may have over done it a bit and my brother began doing it and says it has helped him for those occassions

Alcohol is technically a poison to the body as it cannot be processed by the body at all. It is a rejectable chamical and if it cannot reject itself, then it acts like a poison. Why people can die of excessive alcohol binge nights.

former studies of alcohol affects on the human body and based on its interactions is how I came up with the remedy to minimize or prevent hangovers

If it is the day of the hangover, then fluids of both gatorade and water done in mdoeration as to not upset the stomach like 2 oz every 30 min to an hour, bland diet of salt based foods and carbs also in moderation, old fashion aspriin or ibuprofen for pain and a promise to yourself, "you will not do that again until you forget the reason why you will not do that again."

Good luck and much prayers

H2O. Lots of it and ibuprophen (Advil). Smart Water has added elecrtrolites and Gatorade has sodium (salt) that helps you retain water. Stay away from sugar or you'll get "the runs"!

NOTE: Going to sleep without flushing your system with water or at least two glasses after drinking, makes the liquor you drank saturate inside your body, depleting your H2O supply therefore giving you a headache. People who die of lack of water in the desert, experience hangover-like symptoms as they die. Including the BIG a s s headache you get from a hangover. The best way of avoiding a hangover is not mixing different types of liquors. If you're drinking vodka, don't switch to rum or wine or beer. And don't drink too much!

Eat, drink and be merry.

PS. If you take Advil, don't mix it with tylenol or other pain relief. They use different chemicals and it will hurt your liver.

I take extra strength tylenol (for when I've had a really bad hangover) and I drink really strong coffee and I am not even a coffee drinker. That is the only time I drink coffee, but it works really well. The tylenol takes care of the headache and the coffee takes care of the stomach and all the other stuff for the most part. I've heard that putting a little bit of alcohol in your coffee helps even more, but only a tad. I don't know though because I haven't tried that yet.

Loads of water, and something with bread. Bread will absorb the alcohol. Avoid eating lettuce and leafy veggies, your already exhausted system uses alot of energy to digest these foods. To avoid a hang over in the future, eat something containing meat at least an hour or half hour before you drink, and a cup of water after each drink, if u dont want to drink water, chew the ice. Also, pace yourself.

I would certainly drink lots of water, if I were the person who had the hangover. Drinking water, is a cure on for most things. Have a Happy New Year.

i had a crazy hangover the other day, and had to play football the next day... i drank gatorade and it helped a lot.. but i still had a headache, friend handed me a beer and i drank half of it and the hangover went away...

So...
Gatorade to help, and
Half a beer to get rid of it (guess it the alcohol chemically interacting with the chemicals from yesterday cause it to go away fast)

There is no proven fact that eating and drinking something will get rid of a hangover, but
Eating cold white bread and drinking lemon in water help relieve the headache.

Drinking alcohol dehydrates you, that's what makes you feel hung-over the next day. Drink a lot of water

A real hot and spicy soup like Mexican caldo de cameron (shrimp soup with chilly), get a good sweat going and lay around the house like a wet rag. Enjoy

Nothing really helps but my boyfriend says eating a banana will help because of the potassium in it, also fruit juices because the acid absorbs the alcohol that's in your body
