I have a crush on my husbands best friend. I have had it for about 5 years. I say it's a crush because it comes and goes. How do i keep it from developing into more if he is always around? I try to not hang with him and my husband and i make excuses not to but my husband always wants me to tag along. Lately i've been thinking about my crush constantly and im afraid that im starting to like him. What do i do?

Remember that if you are committed to your marriage, you must take charge of your decisions.

Chemistry can be very strong, but one DOES NOT have to act on it! In fact, Use the temptation and channel it into volunteer work or developing new hobbies for train for an advanced career.

Looking is free, touching costs a lot!

I think the friend needs a woman in his life, and your hubby needs to develop other friends and interests. Try doing things with hubby which exclude the friend, like take upo ballroom dancing, do volunteer work with hubby, take a cooking class with hubby, or just go yourself if he will not participate with you.

Are you willing to give up on your marige that easily!!! Any true man with moral values would turn down another married women going after him. If your so willing to leave the person your with for them why would it be any different for the person your comming to. People that run away from their marriges are cowards and looking for the next best thing and will end up single, alone and distroying their own lives!!! People that keep acting on impulses instead of moral values end up in drama situation! Your acting very selfish and only care about yourself when you act on impulses like that. Work out your problems by talking to eachother, you made a commitment and should stay to it threw thick and thin!!! Communication can save marriges, giving up will distroy them!

I think it's completely unfair to your husband that you are totally into his friend.
Your married, it's time to come forth and tell your husband the truth. Honesty is policy in a marriage.. then, if your husband knows he probably won't include you in the "fun" with his friend and won't have you around him. That should end your "crush".. but if you were completely in love with your husband no other man would appeal to you!

work on any issues within your marriage, until the very end.

if it doesn't work out, then you can move on.

to do anything before that would be dishonest, and the reason for such a high divorce rate. try to remember the love you felt for him, and why you're together. grass is always greener...

good luck!

All you need to do is keep true to your marriage vows.

Anyone can make a commitment, but only the best of us can keep our commitments.

Are you among the best of us?

Good luck.

Pray to God that you don't give in to temptation. It would break your husband's heart on 2 levels if you acted on it.
