wait until the great recession [ depression] hits,. they are always caused by Conservatives.,.i never knew so many nuts could grow on one bush.,.Bush and Republicans have agreed to the following, and the policies below have resulted in the biggest illegal transfer of wealth this country has ever seen as well as erosion of the constitution. Thanks alot.
1. Jesus loves you, and shares your hatred of homosexuals and Hillary Clinton
2. Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's Daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.
3. Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is Communist, but trade with China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.
4. The United States should get out of the United Nations, and our highest national priority is enforcing U.N. resolutions against Iraq.
5. A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but multinational drug corporations can make decisions affecting all
mankind without regulation.
6. The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in speeches, while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.
7. If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.
8. A good way to fight terrorism is to belittle our longtime allies, then demand their cooperation and money.
9. Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy, but providing health care to all Americans is socialism. HMO's and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at heart.
10. Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but creationism should be taught in schools.
11. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense, but a president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die is solid defense policy.
12. Government should limit itself to the powers named in the Constitution, which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.
13. The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but George Bush's driving record is none of our business.
14. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a conservative radio host. Then it's an illness and you need our prayers for your recovery.
15. Supporting "Executive Privilege" for every Republican ever born, who will be born or who might be born (in perpetuity.
16. What Bill Clinton did in the 1960's is of vital national interest, but what Bush did in the '80's is irrelevant.

1.) I'm in need of an explanation on why an 'African-American with a Muslim background' would make a bad candidate.
2.) It seems to me that the republican side is carrying not only their personal baggage(their loads of personal baggage), but the bucket loads of baggage of the current administration. So all in all I think they run pretty even with Hillary. (Not saying it's a good thing, it is what it is.)
3.) I am in total agreement about the hillbilly with the $400 haircuts. He's just ridiculous.

I have no concern about who will be the democratic candidate. They have equal qualifications of the potential republican candidates. What is important to me is the focus of the allocation of funds each candidate has a record of supporting. Social programs in our nation seem to be the most important areas the democrats address. I agree with this. There are many areas that can be funded that will provide the qualified individual with a way to achieve independence. Education is paramount. Childcare can be provided for a limited length of time. Those who are part of the creation of a child will be required to provide funds for the provision of a healthy environment in which the child can develop. Privileges of those remiss in their responsibility will be suspended, or revoked. As well, a portion of the salary will be withheld and sent to the social service office that manages the case. So, if the republicans would display social priorities as the focus of any of their candidates, then I would look at the other decisions and value structures of that individual. The same goes for democratic candidates.

Your entire electoral system is at fault. The people are not in charge and have very little say. As for getting it right, that is impossible for any politician and even more so for a party. It is quite possible that the barons who really run the show want to make sure that they keep the war going and so are only allowing candidates that have a reduced chance of success.
If American males were not terrified of women and the whole nation could accept that belief is individual and that all beliefs are equally correct, the Democrats would have a very powerful combination in Hilary and Obama (alphabetical order not power order).
Vote with intelligence and stay informed.

I think the only way the Democrats loose is if they allow people like you to discourage them about their candidates with your ignorant comments.
Too many times Democrats allow right wing pundits and talk radio jocks to define them and their party without a bloody fight.
It's time for democrats to have some back bone and stand up and defend their chosen candidates instead of running for cover at the first attack from right wingers and company.
Of course all of the democratic candidates will have to make their case for being president, but democrats (voters) have to tune out the noise coming from the right, and study each candidate's record and judge them accordingly.
I hear some people talk about Hillary Clinton as being a liar, ambitious, manipulator, and a flip flopper. Heck, that describes George W. Bush from his cowboy hat down to his cowboy boots.
Bottom line, democrats please start having some backbone and come out swinging, and don't let the paranoid rants from the right influence your judgment about your candidates. Do your research and learn the candidate's records and history from un-biased sources, and defend what ever candidate you choose.
If you support Senator Clinton, then support her.
If you support Senator Obama, then support him.
In other words push back, and stand up for who you support.
It's go time!

John is not a hillbilly because he's from NC or because he spent $400.00 on his body. He's a son, father, husband, millionaire, and a brilliant lawyer but he's taking time out of his life to try to help America!
Oh the Dems have it right this time just like they've had it right before. It's the GOP who need to come up with competition.

Why can't they get it right? Because they believe in coalitions. They believe they have most minorities sewn up, and they play special interests like a symphony. They are really great at promising to solve everyone's problem with the taxpayers' money. What they actually do is exploit everyone's problems to put more and more people on the bureaucracy's payroll -- and benefits rolls, and expense accounts, and office decorations budget, and computer upgrade budget and . . . but you get the idea.
Problem is, by now most of us have figured out that the LEAST effective way to solve a problem is to build a federal bureaucratic nightmare of red tape and petty power trips. The most effective is local non-profit organizations who are helping their own neighbors, not some faceless "entitlement" program.

It's true. They had every chance in the world the last two elections and ran people that were so far away from most Americans that Bush won by default. I'd have no problem voting for a Democrat as long as they weren't some wacked out Soros/moveon socialist, but that's who has hijacked the party.
