My ranking would be 1. Good Will Hunting 2. Titanic 3. L.A. Confidential (who even remembers this movie?). They had it 1. Titanic 2. L.A. Confidential 3. Good Will Hunting.

i definately think the acting and story was better from good will hunting.... i think titanic only won because it was such a big-budget movie. also i think i watched part of l.a. confidential and didn't even finish it, come to think of it i don't even remember what it was about!

Of the three, I think L.A. Confidential stands up the best after ten years. Good Will Hunting seems a little sentimental and manipulative, and Titanic is a big loud tearjerker. L.A. Confidential had much better writing and acting.

3. L.A. Confidential.....I do remember that movie. I didn't like it.

Actually, I thought L.A. Confidential was a superb movie and I remember it well. It was Titanic that I didn't like. Sure, it had great costumes and a good story, but in my mind it wasn't Academy Award material.

i love titanic it brings the emotion into the problem they had. it seems like i was waching it live. I tollay agree with the results.
