It depends on exactly what you're asking.

CAN Brady be used as a nickname for Bradley. Certainly, and it often is.

Is it a short/pet form in the traditional sense, like Rob or Robbie for Robert? Not exactly, since Brady itself is also a stand-alone name completely unrelated to Bradley. Different roots and origins entirely.

But as a literal contracted form of BRADleY (if you see what I mean LOL), it's not at all unusual to see Brady used as an occasional pet form. ;)

Brady is its own name. Although, I guess you could use it as a nickname for Bradley but people will automatically call him Brad. I like Brady - cool name.

it could be, but Brady is more common as a name on its own. Brad is a more common nickname for Bradley

I have heard Brady used as a nickname and a first name. Either way it works.

Not traditionally as far as I know, but I think it works! I always thought Brady sounded more like a nickname than a given name.

NO brady is either used by it self or as a nickname for bradin. Brad is the nickname for bradly. I hope I helped
