gas cans and bk and soda?

Question

Is it illegal to put something other than gas into a gas can? because i was at BK trying to have it my way and they wouldnt let me fill it up. i offered 2 pay as much $$ as it's costs 2 fill but they wouldnt let me and some1 behind me said it was aginst the law wich made the situation worse and i didnt get it filled so i just put some into a cup and then filled my can :)

No, it's not illegal, but I doubt you'll find a store willin g to do it.

They'd be worried that, among other things, maybe there was a little gas left in the can, you drink the soda, get sick, and sue them.
