A rough in framed house seems small, but when the drywall is on, then it seems bigger.

what is the stem wall?...if you are referring to the footer and or the foundation...than yes it will seem alot smaller...Every house I build it seems that way...once the framing is up it seems to grow...after rough in and sheetrock you can truly get a feel for the size of your new home.....I don't know about what these others think....

New construction ...Framed...I found that my master closet looks extremely small compared to another newly framed house with the same exact floor plan and square footage that master closet is significantly larger (the correct size) what can i do this is so upsetting.

Any time you enclose a space, it seems smaller. When you finally get all the walls up, and enclosed with the sheetrock, the rooms will look bigger again. It is an optical illusion.

It's true.
It will look a lot smaller framed.
It will shrink again when the dry-wall goes in.
You'll get used to it.

I found they tend to look smaller after you put that ugly, chemical compound known as vinyl on your house.

yes it is true you know how some houses look smaller from the outside then you go inside and they are so much bigger same senerio.
