i've only had the car a little over a year but this winter as well as last, everytime i try to take my car from park to drive it's stuck...i push down the lil thingy but it refuses to move...it's not everytime i get in my car but pretty much...very very annoying anyone have any idea whats up?

The shifter has an interlock mechanism and cable between it and the brake pedal so that you can't shift into drive without depressing the brake pedal...it's a safety feature. Sometimes this mechanism or cable needs to be adjusted to work properly or try pressing harder on the brake pedal. Maybe have a repair shop or dealer check it out if it gives you lots of problems. There's usually also a way to bypass it by the shifter...consult your owners manual for instructions.
