I only go through when the cashier tells me to go through... otherwise I won't use the 10 items or less even if my 11 items consist of 9 different items and 2 of the same.

The only time I've gone through that line with more than the asked for number is when a member of the supermarket staff have waved me over there (usually during slow times when not a lot of registers are opened). I almost always do self-checkout no matter how many items I have.

i hope there never comes a day when i am so anal i count items in someones cart. to me 10 or less means a few items not a weeks worth of groceries.

LOL...No, I make sure I count. Or I just feel guilty. Because no one wants to wait behind someone who "cant count".

I've done it a few times...as long there is no one around...so I don't upset the uptight crowd! =)
