It was a good time in the baseball section this year. The positives by far out weigh the negatives and I will say it again, the level of knowledge coming from most female participants on this site is amazing. I am not surprised that the ladies love the game but rater the number of participants we see and the range and depth of knowledge. I think it is great and I hope and trust that you and all the others will stick around.
EDIT: GO DODGERS and please no down thumbs from this Yankees and Red Sox crowd.

I was really glad I happened upon the baseball section this year. I made some nice friends and had some great conflicts with some! I learned that not all Yankee fans are jerks and I hope I convinced some people the same about all Red Sox fans. I can hardly wait for 2008!

I had a good time. Answering questions, learning more about the game, and putting some people in their place. I would like to thank you for making the baseball section a great section. I have high hopes for the Yankees, like many fans. BRING ON 2008! LETS END THE FINAL YEAR OF YANKEE STADIUM WITH A CHAMPIONSHIP!

It's by far way better than any Myspace section. Overall, I think this is a good section. I like baseball and I like to talk about baseball.
The only thing that I hate about this section is the people and friends who give each other best answer selections to gain points. That's an entire forum's issue, not just the baseball section.
It pisses me off when people give best answers to people who responded with three -four letter responses. When other people write paragraphs going into detail.

I have learned so much more than I've asked, which is awesome! I check the baseball section several times throughout the day and there are always tons of great discussions going on.
So, thank you baseball section people for making this a fun experience for me.

And thank you for being a fan with class & a cool person unlike some here(They know who they are) I wish all of you a Happy New year & a great 2008. I had fun in the beginning but now some jerks try to ruin the fun for everyone else.

Baseball is the sport of the world...the concept is easy the debates are for the ages. Even if you are not a sports fan you enjoy the local team, why you played it your kids play the game. Its easy and it happens every day for the better part of 7 months.
I look forward to talking all next season.
unfortually we will disagree on teams
GO RED SOX........
just no idea why pap placed the ball on the counter and the dog ate part of it....what can I say he is a nut, but boy can he pitch.
Next year would be fun to have Pap in the 8th (that is the younger one) and Pap in the 9th what yah think

yes i sure did, got Aaron Rowand and Chase Utley to sign a baseball for me, and saw the Yankees play.
Not a Yankees fan, but I went to their away game, and once the gates to the stadium opened at 5:30 there must have been 100's of people down by their dugout waiting for auto's, I stood at the front of the line, leaning my back over the railing, barely staying in the seats for almost 2 HOURS and got ZERO siggies!!!
Johnny-D signed for like 2 people, then ran away...
