Hi,
I got the Orange Box for Christmas and my graphics card maxs out at DirectX 7. I currently have a Dimension 8300 from Dell with a NVIDIA Geforce4 MX 440 with AGP8X. I'm running XP. The meet the rest of the requirements for the games, except for being able to use DirectX 8.

The card I am currently thinking about getting is a BFG - GeForce 7300 GT Graphics Card and it costs around $130.00 from Bestbuy. Below is a link to the card.

What I am wonder is that is this a good card for the price and for that games I am running? Or is the better AGP card at around the same price or cheaper?

Thanks

Meeting the requirement only meant it will install and run, doesnt meant it will play well, 8300 is old, I sure wouldnt recommend throwing money down the drain, your CPU is old, your memory most likely slow, when you buy this card, it sure wont fit any of teh newer machines you upgrade to ever, so unless you have 130 to spare, I would say best save up for a better PC.

That's a pricey 7300GT AGP. Here's a better one.

It is a DX10 AGP card and has better HD video capability.
