Oh my goodness take your baby to the ER if you can't get to a doctor. Something is wrong if this is an ongoing problem. The medication is a fever reducer. It doesn't rid you of it.

What other symptoms does your baby have?
Cough, sneezing, runny an/or stuffy nose, lack of appetite, constant crying or lack of crying???
Your child is at an age where RSV can happen. It is a respiratory virus that often lands those lil ones in the hospital. Some even get ill enough to pass away. No baby should have a fever for that long. You need to take your baby to the emergency room NOW>>>>> it is really important to find out the reason for these fevers. There will be blood drawn, possibly xrays, nasal swabs, etc...but this is what is BEST for the baby!! Also did you know that fevers that do not go away could result in seizures, etc.... causing lifelong health issues?
Please take your child to the emergency room now, before its too late. It may only be an ear infection, but, that WILL NOT get better on its own, and if that is all that the baby has, you could permanently damage the babys hearing if you leave this untreated......I'm sorry if I am scaring you, but this really needs to be addressed. To NOT address it may possibly be deemed a form of child abuse............

You need to find out why he has been having fevers for a month. Tylenol will reduce the fever temporarily, but once it wears off, the fever will come back. It sounds like he might have some kind of infection, for the fever to be going on so long. Take the poor thing to a doctor!

He's got some form of an infection -- Tylenol will reduce the symptoms and sometimes this stuff will go away on it's own BUT if it doesn't fairly quickly, you need to get him on an antibiotice (dr. appt)....young babies can handle a fever better than we can but there's something going on in his little body that need to be checked out. Although that doesn't sound too high to you, it could jump to a 105 temp -- and then you have REAL problems. Tylenol is a cover up just to make him feel a little better. It does not and will not cure an infection.

Tynol is a fever reducer and not a cure. If your childs fever returns after taking the Tylonol there is another problem that should have a Doctors attention.

Usually it will only reduce a fever that high. If you haven't yet you really should try to get him some medical attention if he has fevers that long. It could be something more serious then just a flu. I don't mean to scare you, but you can never be too careful when it comes to the health of a baby. Good luck, I will be praying for your son, and you.

Have you taken him to the doctor? Having a fevers that frequently does not sound good. Tylenol will reduce it or get rid of it temporarily, until the little one gets better on his own...but it doesn't sound like he is. Take him to the doctor immediately.
Wow, some of theses answers are so stupid!. Jessica i- the girl two down from me doesn't know what she it talking about. Tylenol is a fever reducer and you really should be concerned- frequent fevers are not normal!

Tylenol will only reduce the fever. Baby motrin/ibuprofen(sp) works alot better at keeping the fever down. Also putting him in a luke warm bath and keeping a cool wash cloth under his arms and on his forehead will help. I'm speaking from personal experience. I have a 15 month old daughter

My initial thought is take your son to the doctor if he has been having a lot of fevers. I think that tylenol just reduces the fever for a bit. But, I could very well be wrong. Your doctor could tell you.

Have you taken your child to the doctors? This is not normal for a child to have fevers that last that many days. This is a concern. Tylenol will dull the pain but not get rid of it since it is a common experience and I'm sure you have given it to him each time he has had a fever. Give him sponge or baths. Call your local 24 hour nurse that is available to give more advise.
