Life begins at conception. Calling the baby a "fetus" does not change the fact that it is a human baby.

Both sides have a negative look from people of my age group. Pro-life is not all about abortion, it is about helping lives.Lives of poor, victims, and the unfortunate. This I learn from being open and hearing what Pro-life was truly about. The reason it lacks members is, it accidentally emphasizing abortion debates with its rival Pro-choice. Pro-choice is only about abortion being an ok choice. The misunderstanding is Pro-life being completely the opposite of Pro-choice. Pro-life is not really in handling the issue. People my age wish to not get involved with Pro-life because its speakers come to my school and talk about morality and seems to encourage us to choose her path. That is a big turn off. Pro-life don't know they ruin their image with lecturers who a majority of the time talk of morality, people listen to the majority and the majority is saying to us, choose this! Not your choice! also Pro- life doesn't really have a full-proof plan. They want to illegalize abortion, but even if that is done, our society has other way to avoid being parents Drinking Profusely, unknown abortions, and killing a born one. So Pro-life does not have the real solution to the problem, only legally. It is our society that is the problem. How do you change a society?Everyone in has to change. Our society hates raising children. You could raise children being a teen. There are many available programs that help, but we don't like raising kids. As you see now, not everyone in our society agrees to enjoy raising kids. So it will keep happening. Yeah it seems horrible, but horrible things happen to people to help the world last. Abortion helps us not be overpopulated. I suggest you be in Pro-life for the variety of issues that actually don't give you a headache, but abortion will be discussed into becoming an annoyance. You will never find a true solution to abortion in either side, because they are slighty off.

Pro-life.
It's the murder of an unborn human. Many try to argue and say something dumb along the lines of, "They're not humans yet! It's just a fetus, okay?!" but whether they are or not (which according to the basic, scientific fact that has been proven for countless years, it is indeed a human) it's still a baby that won't be given the chance to live.
Of course, who am I to tell women they can't? It is their choice. But if the reason to abort a child is simply derived from the selfishness of just not wanting to accept the responsibility of pregnancy/having to raise a baby, that's what I'll never adhere to.

I have had numerous miscarriages in the first trimester because I have a condition which I can not take medication for. Realistically, they are nothing more than a mass of cells which can not survive on its own.
I DO have a problem with late term abortions because the baby CAN survive outside the womb. That is where there should be the separation.

I'm pro-life because I believe that life begins at conception. People should take responsibility for behavior (the amount of abortions that are the result of rape are very low). There are so many infertile couples who are desperate for a healthy newborn, so it seems sad that they can't have a baby when others are having abortions. Adoption is much better than abortion.

Abortion is a tough issue.
When you see it used as an out for irresponsibility, well I personally get disgusted. And a person who thinks that it doesnt happen and happen alot is fooling themselves.
However when I see some 14 year old girl pregnant knowing what kind of future those kids , they are both are kids, might have you become dismayed as well.
Yes there is adoption, but many girls wont give their child up for adoption. Either they foolishly think they can care for the child alone or their parents talk them into keeping it.
Then we have situations like incest, rape, medical issues where the mothers life is in danger to give birth, and other issues along these lines.
If it were up to me I would legally just leave it alone.

Pro choice. A woman must make the sacrifice to have the baby and having a police state that forces women to give birth will simply make things worse. People can talk all they want about a fetus's "rights" but there is no escaping the simple facts above.

Pro-choice, but I feel abortion should be safe and rare. I find it interesting that many on the pro-choice side have a difficult time with compassionate conservatism after a child is born.

pro-life because I feel they are taking a life away, and it is wrong in my eyes. I'm also pro-life because it is a danger to women. Their is still a high chance that they can't get pregnant again, and they are never the same again. The baby is not the only one in danger the women are too.

I am adamantly pro-choice, the world is overpopulated and filled with unwanted children as it is. My girlfriend had an abortion, and while it was emotional, it was still the best decision. We were not ready to become parents, and we were both emotionally scarred because of issues with our own parents.
Nothing any pro-lifer says will move my position on this. There are too many unwanted children out there, starving, unloved and not cared for. Third world countries should be provided birth control as well as food aid.
As for the pro-lifers out there, is'nt the soul of a child who is unloved and unwanted just as dead as an aborted fetus

It's not really a question of how a person feels about abortion. Rather, it is a question of who gets to make a woman's medical decisions.
The men who rant and rave about being "pro-life" (of course, they don't have to carry the children and they can leave the woman in the lurch to fend for herself and her baby, and they often do) would scream bloody murder if someone suggested that the federal government should make their medical decisions for them, yet they don't hesitate to support that for women.
Either the government makes the medical decisions or a woman makes her own decision with her doctor and her God. THAT is the issue.
